My opinion on the my mother environment who protecting me for without any reason:~
Plastic:From waste to wealth
Plastic ,with its exclusive qualities in now a series world wide environmental and health concern,essentially due to its non-biodegradable nature . More than 50% of the plastic waste generated in the country is recycled and used in the manufacture of various plastic products .
*Dioxin is a highly carcinogenic and toxic by product of the manufacturing process of plastics . Burning of plastics , especially PVC,releases this dioxin and also furan into the atmosphere
Urban and rural areas of India produce so much garbage daily and suffering by many types of pollution which are increasing very fast in terms of area and environment . Most of household of urban area are not using dustbin or not getting facilities to put their domestic garbage and they through on the road and way . If we think deeply about waste into wealth
Plastic is useful but we have use that in a limited way
A myth about plastic are termed as toxic and injurious to health
My waste :My responsibility
The ideal things is our garbage is our responsibility ……At home we must manage our own garbage . We must separate biodegradable garbage from non-biodegradable garbage .
Waste management is essential in today’s society . Due to an increase in population ,the generation of waste is getting doubled day by day . Moreover ,the increase in waste is affecting the lives of many people
This shift in responsibility back to people and shift in the mindset from “I waste :you pick up”to “I waste :therefore I am responsible”,in the sector to waste management could be the first in the world with around 8 lakh household (,almost 10% of the population )managing their waste within their premises.
*Added to this,our waste management initiatives are coupled with organic farming . People have been motivated to use the compost from the units that the mission provided and use it for kitchen gardening to become self sufficient in vegetables that too pesticide free!This way the mission made a “perfect marriage between domestic composting programs and organic farming through kitchen gardening which is yet another first in the country”. There by we are now progressing with a vision of making each local body especially urban local bodies ,self sufficient in vegetables and other such essential crops . We are truly marching towards futuristic concepts of urban farming in real time …….In today’s time

Waste management in India
Waste management in India depends on the standards of sustainable development ,polluter pace and precaution . These standards make the regious and business foundation’ to act in an earth responsible and a mindful way by re -establishing the ecological balance ,their activities in any manner upset it. The expansion in a waste generation as a side-effects of financial advancement has prompted different subordinate enactments for directing the way of transfer &waste management has been made under the Environment protection act (EPA)enacted in the year 1986.
Waste management processing:~
There have been mechanical headway for handling , treatment and transfer of waste in the last few years . Vitality from waste is a critical components of SWM on the grounds that it lessens the volume of waste from transfer likewise helps in changing over the loss into a sustainable power source and natural compost . In a perfect world ,if falls in the stream graph after isolation , accumulation ,resulting and before getting to the landfill . However ,the irony of the situation is that many wastes to energy plants in India are not working to their maximum capacity
But we have to follow some steps to take care of waste our community or in our surroundings :~
The basic processess are:~
Reuse:- To reuse is to use an item again after it has been used . Many items that we might want to discard because we brought something new like clothes ,books, children’s toys ,shoes,electronic items like television sets, mixer ,grinder etc….., Could still be useful to someone else. Instead of throwing such articles away one could collect them in what is called swaps shops and give away to someone who might still want to use it . Many such swap shops are bring organized by the mission which is yet another innovative of the mission as this is another unique initiative in which the reuse is implemented in a practical and replicable manner.
Recycle:-It is not a well – known fact that Indian recycles almost 60% of its non -biodegradable waste . The unsung environmentalists who make this unbelievable figure a fact ,are none other than our friendly neighborhood scrap dealer along with the rag pickers and the waste hawkers who effectively form one of the most vibrant informal recycling ,then these invisible environmentlists enable in our country ,the highly chemical mature of the waste that we are dumping would have polluted our environment twice the amount it has polluted so far
Segregation at source:~
Source segregation is a concept where the generator of the waste segregate waste in pre- defined groups to enable higher resource recovery through recycling waste segregation is included in law because it is much easier to recycle……..Effective segregation of waste means that less waste goes to landfill which makes it cheaper and better for people and the environment . It is also important to segregate for public health.
There is a need to segregate the two types of waste because both the biodegradable wastes and non-biodegradable wastes requires different methods of disposal biodegradable and non – biodegradable wastes should be discarded in two different dustbins so that they can be collected separately …..Non – biodegradable wastes can be sent for recycling.
Waste to energy:~
Waste to energy is the process of generating energy in the form of electricity and/or heat from the primary treatment of waste ,or the processing of waste into a fuel source .Waste to energy is a form of energy recovery . Most waste to energy process generating electricity and /or heat directly through combustion or produce a combustible fuel commodity ,such as methane ,ethanol or synthetic fuels.
The first incinerator or destructor was built in Nottingham UK in 1874 by manlovo ,alliott and co.ltd. to the design of Alfred fryer.
Technologies of segregation of source:~
*Gasification :~produces combustible gas .Hydrogen and synthetic fuels,,,,,,
*Thermal depolymerization:~produces synthetic crude oil which can be further defined
*Pyrolysis:~produces combustible tar/bio-oil and chars
2.Non thermal technology:~
*Anaerobic digestion:~Biogas rich in methane .
*Fermentation production:~examples are ethanol ,lactic acid ,hydrogen
We have to understand that waste management cannot be just projects and investment.The real place that needs investment is people’s mind . But this investment is about simplicity ,self sustainability and everyone becoming a change agent who will bring change in their own micro -environment that will send ripples all around him. IT is about becoming the change we wish to see in the world . It is the investment that has now ignited an enviro-cultural revolution towards a healthy planet and helped us create of the innovations.
