A pleasant day, as usual, my father woke up me in the morning, the lovely voice of the birds makes me much happier. sipping my tea, enjoying the morning on my veranda. In my neighbor house, an old aged lady burning waste in her backyard. It makes me a little worried about seeing the smoke comes from the waste. I went and asked my father about the backyard disposal he said that when he was young, burning of waste is legal in some parts of this country. Even his grandparent was burned waste in their backyard in the early 1940s. Then local politicians realized that backyard garbage combustion is a major contributor to air pollution and banned it. So I thought that disposing of is trickier and recycling is easier. So I thought of that and went to eat breakfast I saw that my mother bought three different coloured dustbin. I joked my mother that it looks like traffic signals red, yellow, green. She said here after you have to put non biodegradable like plastics, metal, food wrapper in yellow coloured bin.I asked, For red coloured bin? she said, Hair, nails, sanitary waste and medical leftovers and their bits. For green coloured bins, only bio degradable.Ok!Ok! I understood mom I’m so hungry, I said. After breakfast, my dad has to move to town for some purpose so I too joined with him. We reached bus stop and waiting for a bus.I saw a beggar collecting all plastic covers, I asked my father that why he is collecting all plastic cover. He suddenly jokes that, other don’t have time to collect that.my father shows me a video in that video, In a railway station peoples are busy and drinks tea and some were thrown tea cups in footh path and keep walking. An handicap after drinking tea collecting tea cups from other, they thought that he is beggar but he collected and put in dustbin which is near by him.The people who gave the tea cups feels ashamed. So I suddenly got an idea, in every bus, each row, they can keep small dustbin, so that people will not throw anything outside.my father said, that’s nice idea but also peoples should be responsible on what their are about to done. When we reached town,it was noon so we ate lunch in a restaurant. There I saw people with well dressed and maintained the hotel very well, so I came up with a conclusion that, only few peoples are irresponsible, by seeing them others also mistaking. After completing lunch we heared a loud voice. We came out a person gave a notice, so we came to know that waste management programme is going on. My father takes me to that programme. I learned more about waste management by that programme. In that program they said, burning one tonne of paper would generate 750 kilograms of carbon dioxide. By hearing that I suddenly look at my father.I realized that just by shouting in the stage that clean India, swachh bharat it is our India each and every one have responsiblity. Just if a person walking by that side he too will realize and tries to make some changes.suddenly I look at my watch, its too late. So we returned to our village. It is 200 metre from our house to bus stop, so I realized and slowly walked. If we think others, we also can’t make changes and others also will not try for it. The situation is alarming and needs every one to start taking immediate action to deal with the garbage problem. First step is to reduce the waste being generated at individual level. Suddenly I raised my head my mother stand in front of me and asked, what are you thinking deeply?I said, Nothing mom, from tomorrow I will help in cleaning of garden and we can call our neighbor and clean this street. My mother asked, Why you are doing that?I said,If everyone thinks like that, then who will clean? It is our place so we have to clean, I said. What a nice day, I ate dinner and before sleeping, I used to pray at night. Every time I used to pray, that I need football, I need cricket bat like that, but this night not going to be like that. I prayed,God please make every people individually responsible on what they are doing and help them to succeed in making changes. Allright, “now its our responsible to make India “A Responsible Country”.
