Plastic is one of the most ubiquitous waste on the planet Earth we can see it everywhere but the reason is not its huge quantity the main reason is that it is produced thousands of tons everywhere and just after one use it becomes a waste.When we throw a plastic bottle in dustbin we think that its now disappeared but the reality is these thousands of bottles are thrown daily and it takes shape of a huge mountain in dumping yards,so it becomes very necessary for us to think on recycling of this used plastic.It is mainly used in packaging industry and all those industries which needs a cheap use and throw material.Plastic is very less expensive to produce and thus it is used globally for various purposes.The main reason due to which plastic is becoming a global issue because has became a huge industry companies like amazon are mainly packaging industry they just pack third party products and sell it on their websites.On one side amazon like tech giants are increasing the demand of plastic packagings but no one is thinking about that waste package which we tore apart and throw into dustbin.The most interesting fact is that plastic is also one of the most adaptable waste we can recycle and reuse it very easily.Companies like Nike had already initiated their work in this field. Nike has recycled plastic bottles and used it in production of sport shoes and jerseys which proved that if we apply a little bit effort in this field then this plastic trash can emerge into a billion dollar industry.Plastic is also a good thermal insulator so it won’t let pass heat through and we can use it in making homes in cold regions of the Earth.We know plastics are dumped in oceans and these plastics now have taken the shape of an island why don’t we really transform that floating plastic into a real island as plastic also had good floating properties and people who don’t have home can habitat there for free.We can also use trash plastic to make sewage pipes as it also don’t have hygiene issues.It will also unlock so many opportunities for our country and peoples will get employed and a whole new industry will evelve which will have the potential to change the future of world economy but the main thing is that who first starts thinking in this field.There are thousand of ways to reuse the trash plastic but the reason why nobody is coming forward is because of its recycling process when plastic comes to recycling plants first it is washed then it is chopped and crushed and then it goes for melting this process also has its harmful effects on environment and after this much hardwork the output is a cheap and low quality plastic.So plastic recycling is not even economically beneficial that’s why most people don’t come forward to recycle plastic.There is need to advanced the process of recycling plastic and also make it a little cheap.At the end the harsh truth is plastic is a non-biodegradable waste So we should first stop the production of one time use and throw plastic products and then we should think on ideas of recycling it and we should also research on developing cheap biodegradable polymers which can take place of plastic.We should work together in this field to make this Earth a better place to live.
