Mission waste management and self reliance

"In a small village of Maharashtra state called mitamita near padegaon of district Aurangabad  few lorries contained garbage and waste burned out on national highway in presence of various senior government officials and on next day police force committed to 'Lathicharge'on that villagers .The victims of that village questioned to the CM of maharashtra that,'is it a democracy? What was our crime only to oppose the transformation of their village  , their livelihood into a garbage area ,isn't it?"  The above article was published in the regional newspaper throwing a light on the reality behind that is the improper waste management in latent phase .And paying an attention on a question that,"are we really survive in an independent and  democratic nation?" The only one answer is having in that question is the WASTE MANAGEMENT As we have knew that waste is nothing but the material, objects which are not in use for the our purpose .It may be  solid , liquid ,biodegradable , non biodegradable , ewaste etc.The improper waste management creates a serious challenge in front of not only any country but the whole world also . The unmanaged waste having so many implications such as environmental, ecological, social, economical, cultural, psychological, ethical, constitutional, regional etc. in both latent as well as in manifest form. The most serious implication of an unmanaged waste is in the form of environmental. This waste now become a obstacles in the relationship between humankind and nature.Waste create a problem in the form of increase in pollution and due to that our life saving god gifted major river such as holy Ganga becomes too polluted and the fresh air in which we survive degraded to very poor quality as like situation of Delhi according to SAFAR .This ultimately triggers the increase in the sea level , climate change, and global warming like world issues .With the environmental impact this unmanaged waste posses a challenge seriously to our rich biodiversity of flora and fauna . Various Marine ecosystem gets destroyed due to plastic bags, waste material allowed to pile on the beach area and through some marine animal it may reach to higher animals like human in bioaccumulation form and causes minamata disease . Large number of  deforestation help in increase in waste material and form a vicious  cycle . The unmanaged waste areas are popularly known as 'Dump ground ' This dump ground create a latent pressure on residential of that area .Some daughters left behind in her father's home in unmarried form or in divorced  one . Like the girls , boy also suffering this day to day tragedy .No. of relationships get broken down due to this unmanaged waste .This creating a social inequality in whole society in latent as well as in manifest form . The productivity of a society get abolished . This inequality creates unemployment and also leads to poor living  condition, the startups also get dumped down.It leds to decrease in per capita income and lowering of GDP rate of nation. The unmanaged waste possess serious danger to our rich heritage and culture. The rich culture of India a cultural hub in the world getting polluted due to possesion of this unmanaged waste and in future so many cultural places might became' untouchable by world viewers' .Now a days as famous director prakash jha says every issue get policitised but this unmanaged waste failed in capturing the political eagerness. The big political parties not mentioning the name of this waste management in their party menifesto or in agenda even just for sake. This is leds to underdevelopment of those particular areas underdevelopment like our hisyorical cities Bihar and Utterpradesh. This under development condition creates so many mental consequences in the mind of inhibitants. The exclusive behaviour of the suffered person get changed he feels worthless and lonaliness in their lifes. Some people becomes critically depressed and also choose a path of suicide. But some people turn toward criminal activities such as robbery, rape, violence against woman, harrashment of young childrens etc. The status of people of that area also suffers and for any constructural work some corrpt government employees asking  money i.e'Chaipani'. And this leads to creppling of ethical behaviour of society and ultemately gives a serious setback to the whole country. This unmanaged waste may ruin the fundamental rights of a person as mentioned in'Constitution of India'. This also posses a challenge to internal security of nation in the form of regional conflicts. Now its our responsibility to manage this waste by attaining"Mission of waste management".The rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi told us that'You must be the change that you want to see in the world". So now we have to take a pledge that'My waste-My responsibility'. Anyone can manage their own waste taking following simple steps which are mentioned below:1.Use 3R mantra in day to day life i.e.Reuse, Recycle and Refuse.2.Use cloths bag.3.Do not use plastic bags.4.Make a separate dustbin for seperetizing the waste like solid waste, biodegradable and non biodegradable waste etc.5.Helping and cooperating in waste collection to municipality workers.6.By speading awarness about waste management. The govenment also taking several measures in this direction like initiating various projects like "Swachha bharat mission","Namamigange mission","Plastic free city"etc according to NitiAyogs report.By enhancing jute production and banning the plastic bags of below 50 microns government put forwarding a huge step in the direction of waste management. The"Constitution of India" also taking step to manage waste by creating a separate ministry for this matter and providing tremondous power to self governed institutions like PRI.The various NGOs also helps in spreading awarness about wastemanagement In this scenrio the political party BJP celebrated"SwacchtaSaptah"on the occasion of honourable prime minister Narendra modi's birthanniversary.Mahtama gandhi says that,"Sanitation is more important than the independence"On the global platform united nations also set up 17sustainable development goal by suggesting  measure to decrease in global warming and climatechange in form of monitoring and regulating waste management. Now it's our responsibility to attain these goals and make our country"Self reliant India".
