Waste management is essential in today’s society. Due to an increase in population, the generation of waste is getting doubled day by day. Moreover, the increase in waste is affecting the lives of many people. I took this topic “waste in my community” just to point few “waste” categories I’ve noticed.
Hoping everyone would have heard the term waste management. Or is it just me? Our Indian community is one of the fastest growing community with increased number of literacy rates, population, decreased mortality rates and on the other hand increased number of rape cases, ill-treatment, killing, polution and decreased rate of oxygen. You might be wondering what am I talking about? Well the topic I’ve chosen is waste in my community and from the Beginning onwards I’ve said that I’m going to talk about “waste” categories of my community. Metaphorically, our in our community we might have passed through ungrateful people, Gossiping ones, nosy ones, violent ones and so on all these can be included in this category. For example take an instance that you are a girl and dreamt of going abroad for higher studies, can anyone guess what our parents next dialogue will be? Well it’s “After your marriage you can go anywhere you like bheta”, in my perspective this is the kind of waste I’ve seen in my community. Then there are the ones who I’ll I’ll treat small job workers, the bearers, and so on. Now literally speaking, Waste that ends up in our streets, homes, and fields begins with the industrial manufacturing of products that cannot be reused or recycled. Communities can work with shop owners and local governments to prevent materials that cause disposal or health problems from entering the community in the first place. Community organizing can pressure governments to make laws that force businesses to reduce their waste and to take responsibility for the wastes they create.
Now let me conclude, community waste can be of different categories and types. It’s our responsibility to be involved in waste management processes rather than being a waste itself in the community. Hope you have a good day. Thank you.
