Do we ever think about how much rubbish we throw Every single day or what happens to it?

I don’t think that we may find answer for the above question. But what if we start thinking about waste that we produce everyday and let’s try to become responsibe of our own community waste

So let’s talk about what is waste?
Waste is defined as unwanted and unusable materials and is regarded as a substance which is of no use. Waste that we see in our surroundings is also known as garbage.Garbage is mainly considered as a solid waste that includes waste from our houses (domestic waste), waste from schools, offices ,etc. municipal waste and waste from industry and factories (industrial waste)

SOURCES OF WASTE
Sources of waste can be broadly classified into four types:
Domestic waste :the different household waste which are collected during household activities like cooking, cleaning ,etc.
Example :leaves, vegetable peels, excreta, etc.

Agricultural waste : various waste produced in the agricultural field I’d know as agricultural water. Example : cattle waste, weed, husk, etc.
Types of waste
Commonly waste is classified into two types : Biodegradable and Non biodegradable.
Biodegradable waste : these are the waste which includes the food remaining, garden waste, etc. Biodegradable waste is also know as moist waste. It can be composted to obtain manure. Biodegradable waste decompose themselves over a period of time depending on he material.

Non biodegradable : these are the waste which include old newspapers, broken glass pieces, plastic, etc. Non biodegradable waste is known as dry waste. Dry waste can be recycled and can be reused.
Let’s talk about garbage
Garbage disposal is an important part of our daily lives, especially if we r living in a city. Collection and the eventual daily disposal of accumulated home garbage are as important as having a daily bath. Swatch Bharat begins at home. Keeping our homes premises clean, free of litter and garbage and we can keep our neighborhood clean; and this can extended to the war, city, state and eventually the country. Proper garbage disposal is essential in Every household. If every household is apartment complex were to proactively follow this daily routine, the entire housing complex would be clean. Now let’s imagine, all the housing complexes in and around the area doing this doing this. What do we see? We don’t need rocket science to visualize and understand this. Let’s extend our imagination further to the city, state and country and we can have swatch Bharat. As citizens of India let us not just dream but put this thoughts to Action.

Let’s understand what is garbage problem
The threat of waste to the environment, health and safety is huge and so are the finical and social ramifications . Waste expert say pollution runs into rivers and seeps into ground water. Flooding is caused by garbage clogging drains, and the atmosphere can be poisoned by the toxic discharge from trash.
Causes : -excessive amounts of waste
-excessive consumption behavior
-population growth
– food waste
-electronic waste
-plastic waste
-and of course laziness
So, how can we prevent garbage waste
– use a reusable bottle .forbeverages on the go.
– use reusable grocery bags.
-purchase wisely and recycle .
– avoid single use food and drink containers and utensils
– compost it.
– buy secondary items and donate used goods
-b
Shop local farmers markets and buy it bulk to reduce packaging

What’s the meaning of waste management
Waste management is the management of waste by disposal and recycling of it. Moreover, waste management needs proper techniques keeping in mind the environmental situation. For instance, there are various methods and techniques by which the waste is disposed of some of them are landfills, recycling, composting, etc. Furthermore, these methods are much useful in disposing of the waste without causing any harm to the environment
Let’s have a look in methods of water management
Recycling : above all the most important method is the recycling of waste. This method doesn’t need any resources therefore this is much useful in the management of waste. Recycling is the reusing of the things that we are scrapped of. Moreover, recycling is further converting waste into useful resources.
Landfills : landfills is the most common method for water management. The garbage gets buried in large pits in the ground and then covered by the layer of mud. As a result, the garbage gets decomposed inside the pits over the years. In Conclusion, in this method elimination of the odor and area taken by the waste takes place.
Composting is the converting of organic waste into fertilzers. This method increases the fertility of the soil. As a result, it is useful in more growth in plants. Furthermore it is useful conversion of waste management that is benefiting the environment

Advantages of waste management
Effective waste management reduces pollution considerably the green house gases like methane and carbon dioxide that is emitted from waste accumulated also reduces in the process. It protects the biodiversity thus protecting the mother earth.
In schools
– reduced coasts of disposing of solid waste.
– increased safety and health of students and staff
– diminished liability and coast of purchasing materials
– the improved general efficiency of the school expenditure.
It also produces energy : it’s another important benefit of waste management. Many waste products can be further used to produce energy. For instance, some products can generate heat by burning. Furthermore, some organic products are useful in fertilizers. Therefore it can be increase the fertility of the soil
So,
The solution to waste management cannot be implemented by the government or officers sitting miles away from our home. As the saying goes, charity begins at home the solution to water management should be started within our homes.
Our intelligent younger generation may please try to keep peace with our progress of science and technology by also becoming aware of the civil, moral and social responsibility. We have succeeded with the technology to reach the moon. At the same time, ironically some of our unfortunate fellow beings are made to dive into dirty and choked manholes bare bodied with no protective clothing and take out stinking dead rats, cats and such other stuffs. We people with our family live in very miserable and unhygienic conditions. The children in the home are not getting proper education and many of them often suffer from ailments caused by the unhygienic surroundings.
So we being a citizen of India, it’s our responsibility to keep our surroundings clean. We should come together and stop the waste. So the only way to reduce the waste is always being aware of our responsibility like segregation of waste, say no to plastic, etc. And we being students should always take care of our surroundings and maintain cleanliness.
I wanted to see India as a developed country and it happens only when we take our own responsibility come together and work hard to stop the problems like waste pollution, poverty, etc.
I quote “Remember, the universe is the echo of our actions and thoughts “.
